INTRODUCTION AND AIMS
The Partnership Association came into being as a result of the Collaboration Agreement signed on 10 May 2006 between the Chancellor of the University of Málaga and the Director General of the Spanish Geological Survey (IGME). This agreement resulted from a very positive background of cooperation over the previous ten years in scientific and technical projects in the field of groundwater. Dated on 12 July 2010, a new Cooperation Agreement was signed for the next 3 years.
The fundamental aim of the Partnership Association is collaborating on research projects, bringing the knowledge and experience accumulated by members of both institutions in hydrogeology and related topics. Another objective is to participate such an Partnership Association, adding synergies, by public or private funding for research projects.
